Adult Education Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteer opportunities are available to assist as members of the RCIA team, as RCIA sponsors, as marriage preparation lead couples and Jordan Program facilitators.

Adult Bible Study

Each September and January, Holy Family offers adult programs on Thursday mornings from 9 to 11 a.m. and Mondays from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Each session has a different focus; contact Peggy Petersen at for more information. ChristLife Series: Discovering, Following, Sharing

The ChristLife Series is a three-step evangelization process that is changing lives and transforming parishes. The series consists of three essential elements: discover, follow, and share. The series is divided into three seven-week courses which build upon each other to introduce people to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and His transforming love. Holy Family Men of Faith

Men come together to study the richness of the Catholic faith and learn how to apply it to their daily lives to become better fathers, husbands, brothers, associates and Christian men.

During the “school year,” the men gather for a light breakfast at 6 a.m. on Tuesday in the room 215, followed by a video presentation and discussion. All sessions end at 7:30 a.m. Ten to 12 sessions run from February through April and September through November.
The summer session study group meets from 6:30 – 7:30 a.m. and with no breakfast served.

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a program of instruction, prayer and ritual celebrations for persons interested in the Catholic Church. The program is designed primarily for unbaptized persons and baptized non-Catholics; however, adult Catholics who have not yet received first Eucharist or confirmation are also welcome.

St. Catherine’s Women’s Bible Study

The St. Catherine’s Women’s Bible Study is open to any women within our community. The group meets in room 215 starting at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday from September through May.

Starting September 8, 2019, the women are beginning the book The Rock, The Road, and The Rabbi: My Journey into the Heart of Scriptural Faith and the Land Where It All Began by Kathie Lee Gifford. Please purchase the book and study guide on your own (available through The ladies can’t wait to see you on Sunday!

Marilyn Meyer Memorial Library

The Marilyn Meyer Memorial Library is a free resource available to Holy Family parishioners of all ages. This library has books to enrich your faith, for your enjoyment and leisure, and for children. While we are under construction, the library is not visibly on display. Please contact Peggy Petersen to check out a book:

Marilyn Meyer was an active parishioner and teacher who was devoted to children’s literacy. Before Marilyn died in 2001, she wished to improve the parish library with funds donated in her memory.
