Mini-Retreat with Sister Dawn Mills
Summoned by the God Who Made Us

Holy Family will be hosting a mini-retreat on Sunday, November 19, from 12:15 – 2 p.m. in the parish hall. Sister Dawn will be presenting on how we can use our different gifts and talents, sharing them with the world, titled Summoned by the God Who Made Us.

Sister Dawn’s insight, wisdom and humor will definitely make your Monday morning a better day. Lunch is included and there is no cost to attend this retreat.

Sr. Dawn Annette Mills,OSB is the major superior of the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in Clyde, Missouri.

As part of a contemplative monastic community Sr. Dawn Annette has specialized in the study and practice of prayer and spiritual disciplines. She has been a Benedictine Sister for over 35 years and has been a spiritual director and director of retreats for many years.

Her book, The Gospel According To Dawn: Woman’s Work of Spiritual Imagination, represents an example of her love of Sacred Scripture and her unique approach to spirituality.  She is also a staff writer for the magazine Spirit & Life.

Sister Dawn is a word weaver and a storyteller committed to promoting a lively and prayerful relationship with the Holy and the work of seeking God.  She brings with her a vitality and love of the Gospel message, and has the inspiration to ignite our minds and hearts in a new way!
