St. Joseph’s Women’s Group Scholarship

The St. Joseph’s Women’s Group is excited to be offering a $500 scholarship for 2019. If you are a graduating high school senior, or currently working toward your associate or bachelor degree, you are eligible. The deadline is April 1.

Purpose: The mission of the St. Joseph’s Women’s Group is to be a welcoming, spirit-filled, service-oriented group of ladies of all ages who serve the people of Holy Family Catholic Church. Our annual scholarship helps us focus on the young men and women of our parish, particularly those entering college or currently enrolled in a post-secondary education program. We have always encouraged our youth to pursue their dreams while keeping their faith in the forefront. This scholarship recognizes students who have done an exceptional job of supporting their faith community and continue to grow closer to God while furthering their education.

Deadline: All scholarship applications are due by April 1, 2019.

Amount: One $500.00 scholarship is given annually.

Eligibility: Applicant must be:

  • 2019 graduating high school senior OR currently enrolled in a college or university.
  • A member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
  • Confirmed

Requirements: Applications must complete and submitted by April 1, 2019:

  • Application form (below)
  • One page letter attached to form (In your letter, address the following as completely as possible: How has your upbringing in the Catholic Faith influenced your decision in choosing your direction of education and how will you use your education to encourage or further your faith?)

Process: The St. Joseph’s Women’s Group Scholarship Committee, consisting of members of the group, will anonymously review the applications and letters and award the annual scholarship by May 1, 2019.

Payment: A check is paid directly to the college, university, or institution the recipient plans to attend or is attending.
