Parish School of Religion (PSR)

The Parish School of Religion (PSR) is a religious education program for children that supplements the faith education that children receive at home. Children who are in grades pre-kindergarten (4-years-old by August 1) through eighth grade are welcome to attend.

PSR classes are held for one hour each week during the academic school year on Sundays at 9:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. and Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m.

Registration is open for the 2018/2019 school year.


Fees are: $50 per child up to three; if enrolling four or more, please contact Mindy Lehman.
First Reconciliation and First Communion are a separate fee and registration. Please do not forget that if you choose to teach or be an aide for PSR, you will receive a $50 discount on your registration fee.

Cancellation Policy

  • Sunday a.m. – If a storm is moving in overnight, classes will be cancelled by 7 pm Saturday night. Check Holy Family’s Facebook page or the parish website to see if classes are in session. If an unpredictable snow storm blows through overnight, notices will be posted as soon as possible.
  • Sunday p.m. – Classes will be cancelled by 2 pm. Check Holy Family’s Facebook page or the parish website to see if classes are in session.
  • Monday p.m. – If Clay County Catholic Schools have been cancelled, then PSR will also be cancelled. If a storm comes through after school, check Holy Family’s Facebook page or the parish website to see if classes are in session.
